A person is a person no matter how small.... how cute... coming from an elephant.

ok so we went to have a movie day out yesterday me and izyan. I came home at about 10am after duty, got like 1 hour of "sleep" and went out to meet my dear friend at Jurong east Train station. We made our way down to Plaza Singapura and wanted to catch Horton at gv. BUT...

The moment we set foot out of the elevator, omg its like half of singapore is lining up for tickets. we quickly made our way to The cathay and straight away bought tickets to the 4 o'clock show. it was a nice heart warming movie. i think it was cool cause the narrator was rhyming his story the whole way. okok some of you will think its a kiddy show rite? but i didn't think so, it was well done! everything was well done rite down to the feathers of vlad the vulture. he was ugly i tell u! hahah!! i felt like a kid again. no wait i still am.. hah! i like the way the story was made all colorful and very very unique.

After the show, we made our way to Marina Square for our second movie, The leap years. I would say that it exceeded my expectation. With very artistic camera shots, beautiful scenes, in the heart of town, along with good casts and a simple story nicely written. Great music from Corrine May. Somehow it manage to reach into me it made me feel the movie and made the romantic in me stay for a while. the script itself has alot of sublime meanings and i kindda like that. i saw a bit of pattern in the show, kinda like, 4 years passed, birthday party, meet guy, corrine may music, sumthing happens, guy goes back, girl sad. ok repeat that a few times and voila! a movie. but still it was good. worth every penny. heh!

so i think im gonna get that DVD if it ever comes out. and YAY singapore for a great movie!
